He receives a call from a raspy voice threatning his wife and kids. He does not recognize the voice but can feel the seriousness of these verbal threats. He has received multiple threatening calls but decides to answer hoping it was a friend. Kess has previously called the police on this man and is worried when the caller mentions "callin' the cops ain't gonna help". He has a family to protect and worry about, he is scared and attempts to keep the caller on the line and calm him down. The mans voice sends chills through his spine.
