CHRIS WHELAN 2/14

"Her body remained poised in the air, writhing slowly,squirming, as if it were being driven by some force trying to escape from within. Her eyes opened wide.They were pure white. There were no pupils. The pupils had rolled up into the eye sockets."- The Narrator of the novel.

As i was reading this part all i could think of was the exorcist. The description brought the image of the girl  from the exorcist when she is fully taken over by the devil towards the end. The strange part about this girl is that they are describing is that it is all taking place in the high school bathroom. Everyone is gathered around outside trying to see what is going on with this girl named Katie who has some very strange sickness which led to her biting her lip off and eating the inside of her own mouth.
