CECILIA EVANS-#2/14

"It was lucky, old man, that at that time the whole Cabinet had Tendencies too. It was uncanny. The Prime Minister, even the Archbishop of Canterbury. They sympathised with poor Toby. It was lucky for him. After that, he got his master's ticket and put to sea."

Oftentimes, so-called "pillars of the community" who were older or were authority figures, sexually abused young people, by force or coercion, such as procuring these minors as prostitutes, either for themselves or for others. Fortunately, organizations such as The NGO Forum of Cambodia advocate for these primarily street-children who were victims of pedophiles and place them in a safe-house called "Our Home."

The image is by photographer Antoine D'Agata and shows only the backs and not the faces of the victims, so that they may remain mercifully anonymous. Victims of such crimes are sometimes blamed for what happened and ostracized and punished by ignorant people for what happened to them.
