Gavin Berry #9/14

“It was the last morning the four of them would ever be together: the man and his wife, his daughter and his son.
The Testament from the beginning starts with Reuben Bourne and his family. A young beautiful wife, his jovial young daughter and adorable son are eating breakfast, completely unaware. Everything is about to come crashing down. Reuben, a writer wrote a compromising article about a militia leader. The bullets and dark red of the cover provide for a minor hint of the violence to come. After the article was published it threatened Bourne and his family, although Bourne didn’t think it would adversely affect him until that fateful morning. A morning that left Bourne shattered, miserable, and astray this is the beginning of a exhilarating tale of a disheartened broken man.
