"Both my manias and depressions had violent sides to them."

My first thought of this quote is how it shows two completely different illnesses. Manias are periods of excitement, while depression is a period of sadness. Secondly I thought of violence and how people can become violent no matter the mood they are in at a given time. Persons can be happy and still violent without knowing it. I selected the image of a fist punching through a piece of paper or wall to represent violence. The hand is usually used when someone is committing a violent act, and to me the image s
hows how the hand is being used, and how destru
ctive one can be when they are violent.
