DANA SAYDAK #9 of 14

"I started slipping into an abyss that ended in murder, of someone I didn't know." (p.132)

This depicts Chapmans decent to nothingness; his fall from doing good to doing the absolute worst. It seems as though he was at such a high that it was inevitable for him to fall, but what he hit was remarkable. The fact the Chapman hit the point of murder is astonishing. The image I chose was that of a falling star coming to someone. It seems as though Chapman had been at the high of stardom, and fell fast, hitting only one thing; bottom. But along his way he managed to hit someone else, he hit John Lennon, and killed him with the power of his fall.
