Ashley Hushka, Blog # 10/13

"Could a ghost think for herself, or was she responsive totally to the needs of the still-living, needs like keystrokes entered into her world, lines of sorrow, loss, justice denied?"

Prairie is referring to her mother when she goes to the library to find information on her. She makes a valid point about the thoughts of ghosts. I, for one, don't believe in ghosts, but after reading this it made me ponder about ghosts. If I were to believe in them, I would think they would have their own thoughts for people living and not living. I'd think that they would always be around, so they would be aware of things going on in both worlds: life and after death.
