Ala Salem; #10 of 13

"Dumphee noticed Bear Tail on guard, sitting at her post on top of the hood of the truck, carrying the antitank gun. She wore his helmet, and had strapped some eagle feathers and beeds onto the back of it. She had on her full buckskins, [...]. A forty-five caliber revolver was tucked into the holster, while a naked tomahawk was shoved into her belt."

Bear Tail is a very adventurous, very feisty character who's willing to try out anyth
ing, go on any kind of adventure, and/or fight for anything and in any way possible. The fact that she's sitting on the hood of a truck with weapons and a helmet reminds me of a past Native American version of today's trucker girl logo that are usually seen on mudflaps. From what I recall, the trucker girl logo portrays the idea that women have strength, power, and don't care about authority when it comes to fighting society. Therefore, I've chosen this image of a trucker cowgirl's silhouette. After all, this silhouette has the girl wearing a hat.
