LISA M. LUGO BLOG POST#6/13

"He was going to die soon. I could tell by her eyes"

It is not surprising to say that death is expected once we are born. However, it is the wait and the quality of life that makes us be in denial of this path we are assigned to take one day; death. It is especially hard to convince ourselves that we cannot control or change our reality, when we have a sick relative or an elder friend who has been with us for a period of time. Therefore, I choose the picture USA. New York. DIALLO protest by Paul Fusco because it represents the fear we feel when we face death. I don't think it is inhuman to be scare of death since I think individuals do not fear death itself, but the life after death. It is hard to see how the world keeps going, and nobody cries for your grief.
