"Even so, what I read often disappeared from my mind like snow on a hot pavement."

This quote is quite powerful, and the final piece acts as a good visual for the idea of disappearing. My image represents the snow melting. The image is of an ice popsicle melting on the pavement. The representation of ice melting is extremely effective and the perfect way to explain memory loss, and forgetfulness. This quote is a great way to explain to someone the concept of disappearing, as when someone sees ice melting they can see exactly what goes on in our mind when we forget something.
