DANA SAYDAK #6 of 14

" My mom always inspired me. She had a joie de vivre, a theatrical and fanciful flair. My mom was so spontaneous, so spur of the moment" (p.89)

Chapman has mentioned the significant role his mother played in his life on several occasions, its a seemingly prominent theme. His mother was his idol, but more his best friend and only friend. I chose this image because it seemed to be the two of them. The mother is clearly theatrical and over the top, and the other person, who I assumed to be Chapman, seems to be mesmerized. He idolizes her and that is depicted here.
