LISA M. LUGO BLOG POST #7/13

"Omar enjoyed the look of surprise on their faces when he told them that there was indeed no mistake"

In the context of the book this quote is directed from a seller's perspective; however, I think the look of surprise it's so blank that it can be used in other situations like dissapointment, failure or sadness. The face I pictured from this quote was one of emptiness and no form. It's like a face of confusion that not even your neurons can read; it is indeed an empty face looking for a different answer. For this reason I chose the photography ISRAEL. Yom Kippur War by Micha Bar Am, because it shows a face of confusion and desperation for a new reality. Just like the look a buyer will give to a seller if the price is not satisfying.
